A teacher falls in love with the married owner of the guest house in which she is staying during a holiday to Austria.

Mr. Polgár is a provincial paper dealer. His sons, Viktor and Feri, are managers in a big factory in the capital, spending their money lavishly, living their lives in a careless, irresponsible way. Viktor is to marry a baroness and feels rather too uneasy about his father's small business. He persuades his old man into selling the business he had so long cherished and to move to their place in Pest.

Seeta was a 1933 Indian talkie Bengali film, directed by Debaki Bose and produced by the East India Film Company.[1] It won an honorary diploma in the 2nd Venice International Film Festival in 1934, becoming the first Indian talkie to be shown at an international film festival.

Igor Savchenko's Accordion (Garmon', 1934) was adapted from a poem by A. Zharov. This film sheds light on the reasons why the mass song came into being. In it, the country boy Timosha stops playing the accordion after being chosen leader of the local Komsomol. When he understands that he must compete with the sad kulak songs played by Tlskliby ("Mournful"), he recognizes his mistake in abandoning his accordion, and in the end he gathers the other youths around him with his lively and merry songs.

Set in Venice, the touching and sometimes unintentionally comic story of a diminutive tenor who falls in love whilst striving for success. Also filmed in German as Ein Lied geht um die Welt.

Jimmy Durante asks popular song writing team Mack Gordon and Harry Revel to demonstrate some of their songs. There is interplay with impersonator Florence Desmond, Ben Turpin, Rudy Vallee and many others. Sometimes this film is incorrectly labelled as A-2. In the Criteron Pictures rerelease, this has an incorrect copyright date of 1932.

Life on the breadline in the 1930s was hard enough, but times were desperate when you fell beneath it. Hunger marches organised by the National Unemployed Workers' Movement drew attention to the cause, but this left-wing collective picked up a cine-camera. The fictional story at the heart of the film is somewhat melodramatic, but the authentic surroundings give its message realism and weight.

On the way there, she meets the winsome Konrad on the train. Both have the same destination, only at the train station, their paths split. When she then stands before “her” hotel, she’s appalled. The “Jungfrau” is an old, dilapidated eyesore, because people with taste put up at the “Mönch”, which is owned by the Leitner family. Both families have been at odds with each other for years. Then, Mutz learns from Konrad that he as well is a Leitner and the owner of the “Mönch”. Now, she wants to be victorious, win the trial once and for all. Konrad accepts the challenge. Firstly, the “Jungfrau” is turned into a modern hotel in no time.

The Last Billionaire is a 1934 French comedy film directed by René Clair and starring Max Dearly, Marthe Mellot and Renée Saint-Cyr. The film is based on a fictional small European kingdom which is on the verge of going broke. Its French title is Le dernier milliardaire.
