Reverend Sensho Sasaki's home movie shows the people, places and activities near his Buddhist churches in Tacoma, Washington and Stockton, California.

It contains: Aviation Day; the painter Foujita; football in Lima and Callao.

It includes: National Sports Championship; Santa Rosa and Garibaldi festivals.

It contains: the July 28th parade; the July 30th races; the burial of those who fell in Trujillo; the central highway; the German and English sailors; the fire truck parade.

Filmed by cameramen from Peruvian Films in Guayaquil, during the festivities held in November 1931 for the arrival in Ecuador of the steamship Urubamba, capturing views of the itinerary followed by the ship through the ports of northern Peru, and those of Guayaquil and Balboa.

Documenting a journey by camel across the desolate wasteland of the Kharga Oasis in 1932. The film includes scenes at a train station, bustling street, scenes of digging/excavating, camel caravan carrying loads and travel between desert camps (party includes European women). The film shows Kharga - the largest oasis of the Libyan Desert, which consists of a depression about 160km long and between 20km to 80km wide; it is located 232km south of Asyut, 550km south of Cairo.

S.W. Childs, Jr.’s best known production, this thirteen-minute short film tells the story of a man and woman preparing for and enjoying a dinner date. As Childs described it in an article in Amateur Movie Maker, “I got the idea that it would be fun to film the action of some person’s hand, say at a cocktail party. Upon this slender thread the light tinsel of I’d Be Delighted To! was hung.” Throughout the film, Childs’ camera focuses solely on the hands and feet of the film’s protagonists. (Yale Film Archive)

A short cinematic impression, entirely made from the protagonist's point of view. Sitting at the breakfast table, a man (who is never fully visible) consults the railway timetable, drinks a cup of tea and calls a taxi. While it waits outside, the man has to replace his shoelace, because it breaks. The taxi takes him to the station through heavy urban traffic. He pays the driver and enters the station. The film follows a scenario similar to the one Joris Ivens wrote for a so-called 'I film'.

It is the game \"all'annamurate\" used during the grape harvest, the ritual of courtship. The young man who gets the last grape of the bunch will dance with the young and pretty vending machine who, of course, has already secretly established the lucky suitor .
