Felix feels lonely, seeing all the other animals finding love. At last, he spots the perfect mate ... unfortunately, she's on Mars.

A tin can bounces along the road. It is attached to Jerry's tail. "Five miles, and I haven't gained an inch!" reads an intertitle. Jerry looks behind at the can. Jerry runs through a hole in a fence but the tin can is too big to follow him through. Jerry runs on the spot until the string snaps. Jerry rolls along until he hits a cleat on the quayside. He looks at his tail and wags it to make sure that it is still working OK. He looks at the boat which is attached to the cleat: "Here's a chance, I'll stowaway!"

Marcus changes the countenance of Bryan to that of Briand. Another interesting example of this cartoonist's cleverness is a drawing of a tiger which gradually takes on the likeness of Clemenceau, "The Tiger of France." Other subjects include Josephus Daniels, Lloyd George, Theodore Roosevelt and Cardinal Mercier.

A young boy steals jam from his mother and his mother tells him the story of the pelican and the monkey who stole everything in sight. The monkey was punished by having to make little rock out of big one on the chain gang, and the pelican has his bill padlocked.
