Harry and his friend have planned to go out for an afternoon of fun. But first, Harry must figure out how to slip away from his domineering wife with some money to spend...

A band of marauders are burning the property of ranchers in Slocum Valley. Dane Gordon, Percival Wade's silent partner, poses as an ex-convict, joins the gang, and falls in love with Goldie Fleming, stenographer to Bat Jackson, the brains of the gang. He learns that the raids are conducted for the purpose of depreciating the properties so that they can be purchased for a song. The gang learns Dane's real identity and plots to blow him up.

Nina Duane is a criminal lawyer whose gender was professionally resented by Philip Barry, the District Attorney. She wins acquittal for man-chasing widow Mary Booth, then defeats her in romancing the D.A.

A gambler shoots a man in self defense and receives a prison sentence. Upon release, he disguises as a mining engineer and pursues revenge on the judge who sentenced him.

Jimmie, Lavoris and Turpentine, three Knights of the Road (Bums/tramps), have just arrived in the West where Two-Gun Joe, the local bad man, surprises them while they eat. The sheriff runs him off but, in his haste to escape, Two-Gun drops a monogrammed pipe. Jimmie picks it up. Molly, on a nearby ranch, is having troubles with her foreman who, when he sees the pipe, thinks Jimmie is the outlaw and gets real peaceful. Impressed, Molly offer Jimmie the ranch-foreman's job. But they haven't seen the last of Two-Gun Joe.

Daredevil pilot Bob Manning is pressed into service by the Government to track down a missing mail plane. He soon uncovers a gang of aerial hijackers, led by Bruce Mitchell. Exhibiting a repertoire of truly awe-inspiring flying stunts, Manning beats the villains at their own game.

A Modest Comedy Drama

In Recife, Dr. Paulo is an important lawyer that has a daughter, Heloísa, with his paramour and living in the country. A few days before traveling to Europe, Dr. Paulo asks to a close friend to bring Heloísa to Recife. Meanwhile, his bohemian and irresponsible son Helvécio meets Heloísa, and without knowing that she is his sister, he tries to rape her, and she kills him. Heloísa is arrested and goes to trial without any evidence to prove that she self-defended her honor.

Jasper Steele, a wealthy rancher on the border, sends for Timothy, his nephew, to assist him in a feud with Hawksby, a rival rancher.

The railroad is building a new line, but the workers are unhappy. That's because one of the board members, hoping to oust the man in charge of the project (Rapley), has a saboteur on site. Rapley's daughter, Rose, sneaks out to the project to become their telegraph operator and, with the help of the supervisor, "Sunrise" Smith, eventually discovers the plot and helps catch the bad guys amid several thrilling train chases.

Nikolajsen is shocked by the news that he has an adult daughter who lives in Jutland – where wild wolves wander! His friends – the baker, the butcher, the tailor and the shoemaker – are entranced by the honour and glory they would gain by venturing forth and exterminating the feral wolves. Unfortunately for their chances of success, Nikolajsen and Co. decide to hire Pat and Patachon as their hunting guides. Virginia Dean enjoys a yachting trip with her father. She falls in love with the captain of the boat, John Reynolds. A gang of criminals has stowed away on board and they take over the yacht and set her father and the crew adrift in a small boat. However, they keep John and Virginia on board. When the yacht catches fire, they all abandon ship and take refuge on a nearby tropical island. Blackie Slade, the leader of the villains, rouses the natives to attack the others

A young man is sent by his father to Mexico to investigate his mine. On the way he meets a girl, whose life he has already once saved, who is traveling to the same place. He is kidnapped by some men who are misdirecting the mine shipments, and escapes in time to save the girl from death

This Mutt and Jeff cartoon was directed by Charley Bowers. It shows his typical care, both in the drawings of the characters and a surprisingly elaborate back ground. Mutt and Jeff are out looking for fire wood during a cold snap; the Devil appears and takes them to the Hot Place, where they are put in charge of making sure that the last fire there doesn't go out. Their job is complicated by the imps and demons, as well as the fire insisting on wandering around.

Gordon Emery hopes to marry the wealthy Estelle Summers but is ashamed of his own lack of money. He then hears that he is the sole heir of a fortune of two million dollars from his uncle. Estelle refuses to marry him, however, unless he loses all of it. Convinced that the best way to do this will be to get arrested and compel his uncle to disinherit him, he tries a to get arrested in a variety of ways but keeps failing to do so and is even commended for preventing a bank robbery.

A spoiled rich girl is brought down to earth by the man who loves her.

Arizona cowboy Coot Cadigan travels to San Francisco and runs into Stuffy McGee, a small-time crook who stages phony "fights" to amuse the tourists. During one of those frights a man is killed and Coot gets blamed for it. Stuffy hides him out, but when he gets arrested Coot hightails it back to Arizona. with Stuffy's three children. To earn some money, he enters the Arizona Sweepstakes, a horse race with a large purse and one on which Col. Savery--the father of the girl Coot loves--depends on to save his ranch.

Charley has several dilemmas facing him at Christmas, all posed by his greedy, heartless landlord Noah and his family.

Lige Conley goes into a fight to collect money to marry his girl. Then, hooking up with Holloway and George Gray, they get involved in several other schemes to make money fast.

The debauched son of a wealthy family, Dick Gilbert, is forced to raise money to pay off gambling debts and uses a valuable family jewel as security for a loan from Prince Borkoff, but it is stolen by Morris, a gambler.

A "stranger from the city" arrives in a rural town and immediately causes trouble. A struggling father who is in danger of losing the family home to a mortgage. To save the property, the father tries to force his daughter—who already has a local sweetheart—to marry the wealthy "city chap". The comedy stems from a series of identity swaps involving the wedding veil. Two country maidens are involved; one is ignored while the other is wooed by the city stranger. The "unwilling bride" (the daughter) keeps swapping her veil with a "willing bride" to avoid the ceremony. The veil is passed back and forth several times until the city chap and the father's favored suitor are eventually outwitted.

Jacob Cohen, who owns a dry goods store, and Patrick Kelly, an Irish cop, are constantly at loggerheads, feuding over anything and everything. Kelly's son, Tim, and Cohen's daughter, Nannie, fall in love despite the bickering of their parents; when they cannot get parental consent for their marriage, they secretly wed.

Tailor Vipperup in Ebberöd has problems with liquidity: customers are bad at paying for his services while his own creditors are all the more intrusive. His consolation in life consists of his daughter Ellen and the faithful companion Tadeus. However, the repulsive trader Klemmensen, the town's richest man and most ruthless usurer, casts more and more lustful glances at Ellen.

Farmer Al Falfa is the proprietor of a lunchroom, and Thomas Cat and Milton Mouse (and his little mice friends) all help Al. But the mice, as cartoon mice are known for doing, get mischievous and throw too much yeast into Al's bread-dough, and it swells up and bursts. Al's summary lesson is that "Life and Hash are what we make them."

Max draws a circus poster featuring Ko-Ko the Clown and Fitz the dog, but the circus owner wants them replaced with a giant. On the poster, Ko-Ko and Fitz find ways to take on their oversized rival.

Two Oxford University students, Jack and Charles, find themselves in a predicament. They enlist a friend to impersonate Charley's aunt from Brazil as a solution to their problems, not realizing that it would further complicate the situation.

After inheriting his uncle's ranch, a cowpoke manages to capture a ghost of the range, break up some cattle rustlers, and win the girl.

A bill collector working in a tough neighborhood manages to rescue a young socialite from kidnappers.

Julius is out for a ride on his horse; he does some rope tricks. Some bad guys rob a stagecoach; one of the passengers is Alice, who finds herself stuck between the head bad guy and a cactus. Julius rides in and saves most of the passengers, but the bad guy rides off with Alice. After a short chase, he ends up battling Julius on top of a tall rock outcropping. A piece eventually breaks off, sending both of them into a boulder field. They play hide-and-seek a while. Julius then takes off his fur and sends it out as a decoy while he sneaks up behind the bad guy with a club and beats him into the ground. Alice comes up to thank him; ashamed by his nakedness, he hides behind a rock and puts his fur back on, then accepts her thanks.

"Lightning" Jack inherits a ranch. Unfortunately, he is forced to share his inheritance with Donaldeen Travis, a snobbish debutante type who arrives from the East with her mammy and sister in tow. Donaldeen takes an immediate dislike to the uncouth "Lightning" and spends time instead with smooth-talking neighbor Currier King.

Captain Terrance Connaughton loses his stable of horses in a card game with Algernon Cravens.

Jack De Quincy, an American graduate of Oxford, is still considered a wastrel playboy by his father, owner of a giant lumber company in the American northwest. To prove he is a man his father sends him there to take charge of a large lumber camp, filled with brawny he-men who spend their time drinking, gambling and brawling when not cutting timber. Once there, Jack establishes himself by winning a fight against "Dum-Dum" Pete, the toughest man in those parts. Along the way he sees to it that a needed operation is performed on the camp's mascot, a crippled young boy, and saves his sweetheart, Marie O'Nei, that daughter of a rival lumber company, from drowning in the river when the spring thaw causes an ice-break flood.

You can get far and wide if you try to pick cod from an ice floe drifting out to sea. This is what Pat and Patachon learn in this adventure in which they rescue young girls from the white slave trade in Spain and where Patachon enters the ring as a boxer against a gigantic superman from France. Jim Wesley returns from college with a silk shirt and eastern ways, earning the contempt of the cowpunchers on his father's ranch. With a little hard riding and fancy roping, however, Jim proves himself to be a regular guy. Jim's father is involved in a dispute over water rights with Adam Grayson, a neighboring rancher, and the two men decide to settle the disagreement by a marriage between Jim and Grayson's daughter, Marguerite. The young people refuse, but when Marguerite is attacked by a rejected suitor, Jim comes quickly to her rescue.
