Bearcat Turner Stacy loves Blossom Fulkerson and promise her to give up drinking. Turner is arrested and he find Blossom in the arms of Jerry Henderson. Kindard Powers attack Handerson thinking he's a Officer. He can rescue himself and hid in Blossoms cabin. Later he is attacked again but this time rescued by Turner. He forces him into marry Blossom from hes deathbed and when he dies, Turner goes after Powers and kills him. Blossom leaves the community, but comes back and agrees to marry Turner.

Peggy ( Bessie Love ) and her sister Frances ( Myrtle Reeves ) live with their father, but because of his idleness, they must all move to humbler quarters. Peggy adapts quickly to their new surrounding, while Frances misses the social life she once enjoyed. Their neighbors are well off, and Peggy begins a romance with their son, whom she thinks is the chauffeur. Meanwhile, Frances has become involved with a roguish character and plans to elope with him. However, the Colonel's wife confesses the truth back in Singapore. Cleared of all charges, Robert is restored to his military rank and reunited with Iris.

Twenty years ago, the Count of Groningen left his ancestral castle. Since then, it is said to be haunted. Shortly before his escape from the dark walls, the Count had left his newborn child to the care of the administrator and farmer Grödner. The nasty Grödner had already swapped his own child Veronika with the Count's in the cradle, probably because he hoped to one day gain possession of the castle.

Marjolin, called for military duty, has cheated on his wife who found out and decided to get even by being a godmother to another soldier, a cook named Brichoux. Brichoux sells his place to Lambrisset who soon makes a pass at the woman. Marjolin's uncle, a colonel, arrives unexpectedly and congratulates his alleged nephew. But Mrs. Lambrisset, thinking that her husband did not get his leave, comes to Paris to visit her friend Mrs. Marjolin, and finds her husband there. The Colonel sweetens her temper.
