It becomes apparent to the women that her husband will not settle, so she leaves him and falls destitute and hungry. An opportunist scoundrel with bad intentions takes her in, but by and by insists she engages in shameful work. When she refuses he is enraged and attacks her on a bridge, leaving her to drown. She is then rescued...and her family accept her.

A splendid picture showing a parade of decorated floats, representing various nations on one Grand Lagoon at the St. Louis Exposition-The Cascades, Festival Hall and it's picturesque surroundings in the background. This picture is remarkably fine photographically, and of unusual interest, inasmuch as the floats come very near to the camera and a very fair view of the occupants is given.

One of the greatest attractions at the famous Summer resort, Coney Island, N. Y. A huge elephant stands at the top of the chutes and prepares for his trip. At his back is another elephant who starts his companion. The huge animal assumes a sitting position as he leaves the top and like a flash slides down the steep incline into the water. He strikes the water with a tremendous splash, remains under the water for a short time, enjoying his cool bath. It takes considerable coaxing on the part of his Arabian keeper to get him to come out of the water.

In Arequipa, Juan José Pont coincided with President Candamo's visit to the city. It was there that the president died suddenly, prompting Pont to film the funeral, which he later screened in Callao before leaving the country.
Pont traveled through southern Peru. While in Arequipa, he coincided with President Candamo's visit to the city.
Footage of the bullfight held that day, filmed by Pont, was shown alongside the foreign films in his repertoire.

A little girl and her baby sister are playing in the garden. The older of the two, wishing to amuse herself in some other way, gives the baby some bread and runs off. Pretty soon a number of hungry puppies see the baby eating and make a rush for her. When they jump for the bread the child becomes frightened, gets up and attempts to run away, but there are too many hungry pups around, and before she can get away, they snatch the bread from her. It is very humorous to watch the baby's facial expressions from the time the little puppies first appear, until she runs away.

A realistic representation of the bombardment of Port Arthur by the Japanese. The great iron clad monsters of the deep are seen to glide in and out firing at the Russians, who are inland. The water effect is grand, and the mines are seen to explode, throwing thousands of tons of water high into the air; ships are seen to burst into flame and sink from sight, leaving the crew to fight their way to shore, some of them being shot by the Russians from the fort.
