It's 1938. a year before the Nazi occupation of Poland. A 27 year old Jewish artist, named Josef Herman, is living in Warsaw. The Nazi regime has begun to impact and frighten the Jewish people. They are living in constant terror. Josef Herman decides to leave his country and home in search of sanctuary.
