Four months after the wedding crash that ended season five, the toys are still banned from Halo online. Master Chief passes the time by doodling on walls and burning holes in the carpet. The Arbiter, estranged from Claire, has sunk into alcoholism and self-loathing. Greg has vanished without a trace. Meanwhile, the OMN (Online Multiplayer Network) forms the TOSERS—Terms of Service Enforcement/Response Squad—to combat cheating and hacking. In retaliation, a ruthless hacker clan called Chaos Theosis emerges, unleashing FragBan, an illegal patch that lets players permanently ban and steal data from anyone they frag—unless the TOSERS are disbanded once and for all.
