Tatya Tope's message spurs the patriotic Indian soldiers to take over the Kanpur battalion of the Britons. A wounded Karma sees Laddi sending a telex message to Rose, apprising him of the venue for the meeting of the revolutionaries in Gwalior. Laxmi Bai leaves alone for the battle and sees Kali, a tribal girl. Kali finds Karma, who has been knifed by Laddi.
