Saladin and Süreyya are entrusted with the administration of Ascalan by Sultan Nureddin, marking the beginning of new conquests for the Zengis under Saladin's leadership as "Emir Saladin." However, Gaza faces an unexpected disaster as Abram, a wealthy Jewish figure, leads a massive Crusader army to massacre Muslims. Selahaddin anticipates the impending massacre and acts to protect the people of Gaza, but Melik Mevdud, known as the "Tiger of Mosul," disrupts Selahaddin and Nureddin's plans by arriving in Ascalan.
