Big Brother Turkey is the Turkish adaptation of the Dutch television reality show Big Brother. It was hosted by Asuman Krause. The first season premiered on Star TV on November 28, 2015. The prize for the first season was 1,000,000 TL. The Big Brother Turkey house was built in Istanbul on a massive set over a period of 5 months. It was the largest indoor studio ever built for a TV reality show, and also included an additional obstacle course for contestants to complete challenging tasks and games, as well as an indoor swimming pool. The house was monitored 24/7 by 90 cameras.
