The Den

The Den was the brand of the children's television strand on Irish public broadcaster RTÉ Two. It first broadcast on 29 September 1986 on RTÉ1, before moving to Network 2 in September 1988. The strand began to diversify throughout the late 1990s and the 2000s. It was also known as Dempsey's Den, Den TV and Den2 at different times during the 1980s, 1990s and 2000s. In mid-2010, RTÉ Television announced an overhaul of all young people's programming, especially as Ireland moves towards digital terrestrial television in autumn 2010. This overhaul took place on September 20, 2010 effectively replacing The Den branding and to incorporate two new strands, RTÉjr and TRTÉ.

Mister Rogers' Neighborhood is an American children's television series that was created and hosted by namesake Fred Rogers. The series originated in 1963 as Misterogers on CBC Television, and was later debuted in 1966 as Misterogers' Neighborhood on the regional Eastern Educational Network, followed by its US network debut on February 19, 1968, and it aired on NET and its successor, PBS, until August 31, 2001. Silk is a British television drama series produced by the BBC and first shown in 2011. Written by Peter Moffat, the series follows a set of barristers, and what they do to attain the rank of Queen's Counsel, known as 'taking silk'. Passionate defence barrister Martha Costello faces challenging cases and surprising clients, which test her faith in the criminal justice system. Gifted colleague Clive Reader is called to the bar with her. They work hard with pupils, Nick Slade and Niamh Cranitch, but ultimately only one can eventually be taken on as a member of chambers.
