Cristina Bazán is the name of a highly famous and successful 1978 Puerto Rican telenovela starring Puerto Rican actress and singer Johanna Rosaly, and the Venezuelan singer/idol José Luis Rodríguez El Puma. The soap opera, was co-produced in Puerto Rico by Radio Caracas Television of Venezuela and Telemundo Puerto Rico. Cristina Bazán was responsible for bringing Johanna Rosaly and José Luis Rodríguez to international TV stardom in Latin America and Spain. The story of Cristina Bazán was the typical story of Cinderella, where the poor and good girl suffers from the mistreatings of her stepmother and sisters, and finally found the love of the "handsome" and rich guy. Other characters in this soap opera include 'Ambar Alsina', 'Taina', 'Rosaura', 'Miguel Angel' and 'Tere'. A very young Adamari López has a special appearance.

It is a remake of Esmeralda, a 1970s telenovela produced by rival network Venevisión, which in turn has been remade twice. Topacio was written by Benilde Avila, Milagros del Valle, Ana Mercedes Escámez, and Delia Fiallo and directed by Luis Alberto Lamata and Luis Manzo. This telenovela lasted 181 episodes and was distributed internationally by RCTV International. Victorinos

Victorinos is a Spanish-language telenovela produced by the United States-based television network Telemundo. It debuted on June 23, 2009, replacing Sin Senos no hay Paraíso and concluded February 5, 2010. The telenovela is a remake of the 1991 RTI Colombia weekly series Cuando Quiero Llorar No Lloro, which in turn is based in the homonymous 1970 novel by Venezuelan writer Miguel Otero Silva. Ramiro Meneses, who is currently directing the Telemundo telenovela, starred as one of the Victorinos in the 1991 RTI series. The serial ran from Monday to Friday to run for over 26 weeks. As with most of its other soap operas, the network broadcasts English subtitles as closed captions on CC3. Ironically, this show was replaced by the original serial of the show, it had replaced.. Quinceañera was the first telenovela to talk about substance abuse, date rape and gangs, and is considered to be the first telenovela made for teenagers. Quinceañera was named by the Associated Press as one of the ten most influential telenovelas ever to air in Latin America, and Univision tlnovelas viewers named it one of their all-time favorite Mexican telenovelas. In 2010, Quinceañera was placed #7 on the People en Español's "20 Best Telenovelas" list, and in 2012, Terra named it as one of the fifty best telenovelas of all-time.

Fernando Lascurain is a wealthy businessman and recent widower, attempting to raise his seven unruly children. He seeks the assistance of a new nanny.
