Clerks - Season 1

Another day in the life of Dante and Randal, loosely based on Kevin Smith's indie film. _________________ Brian O'Halloran and Jeff Anderson, the actors who played Dante and Randal (respectively) in the original Kevin Smith film Clerks (1994), both auditioned for Dante. After they saw this result, both were glad they never got the part. _________________ Filmed during the production of Kevin Smith's follow-up film Mallrats (1995). Smith had no involvement in this attempt at a series. _________________ The end credits song is "Can't Even Tell" by Soul Asylum. The music video for the song features Dante and Randal from the movie this pilot was based on arguing with the band members if they could beat them in roof hockey.
