Play School - Imagine

Come along with us in this series of Play School, on our adventure into the wonderful world of possibilities as we imagine through making, story-telling, singing and dancing. As play moves beyond exploration and discovery young children begin to develop their capacity to imagine. Imagination is seen in the capacity to use one object to represent another, such as a block for a toy car, to pretend to be a different character such as an animal or fire officer, or to invent new possibilities in play. Imagination also comes to the fore in conversations as children share their ability to fantasise and to wonder. It can be a time of creative ideas and lots of questions of why, how and what if. Join us as we create a paper world, a woodland garden and washing world! We also make some yummy things in the Play School kitchen and look through the windows as some children act out different adventure stories with the toys.

Fish Hooks

This inventive animated comedy series, set inside a giant fish tank in Bud's Pet Shop, presents high school life as seen through the eyes of three BFFs (best fish friends), Bea, Milo and Oscar. Together they experience the typical life challenges and triumphs, including friendship, dating and sports, along with more atypical situations such as giant lobster attacks and, with the use of special land suits, school field trips to the hamster cages. The series was created by children's book illustrator Noah Z. Jones and features a notable voice cast. It's produced using an innovative mixture of digital animation and photo collage
