After awakening in the Edo era, a neurosurgeon uses his medical knowledge to help those around him while searching for a way back to the present day.
Yukimura Chizuru is the daughter of a doctor who works in Edo; her father leaves Edo to work as a volunteer doctor and moves to Kyoto without his daughter.
