Preserving Patterns is a short documentary that follows MoonLoveBatik, a Hmong Batik store in Luang Prabang, Laos, dedicated to safeguarding the fading art of hand-drawn batik. Through delicate strokes of wax and dye, the artisans not only create textiles of beauty but also weave stories of identity, resilience, and pride.
