In the Dark
1 in 5 people struggle with dyslexia. The International Dyslexia Association says dyslexia is a "neurological condition caused by a different wiring of the brain. There is no cure for dyslexia and individuals with this condition must learn coping strategies." That is the status quo accepted by everyone except holistic chiropractor Phyllis Books, who has been working to reverse dyslexia for more than 30 years. In the Dark takes place in Books' home and office in Austin, Texas and follows Jen, 26, and Kate, 7, on their journeys with Books to seek treatment and change their lives in as little as five days.
