จากตำนานสุดสยองที่มีอยู่จริงสู่จอภาพยนตร์ ตำนานดังกล่าวได้พูดถึงนักศึกษาสาวคนหนึ่งที่รอคอยคนรักอยู่ที่สะพาน แต่เธอกลับถูกทอดทิ้งอย่างโดดเดี่ยวจนตรอมใจและปลิดชีวิตตัวเองลง ณ สะพานแห่งนั้น หลังจากนั้นเป็นต้นมาในช่วงเวลาเที่ยงคืน บันไดของสะพานดังกล่าวก็จะเพิ่มขึ้นมาอีก 1 ขั้นเป็น 14 ขั้น และถ้าหากมีผู้ใดที่หันหลังกลับมาก่อนที่จะเดินถึงขั้นสุดท้าย คนผู้นั้นก็จะหายสาบสูญไปตลอดกาล และในวันหนึ่งเด็กนักศึกษากลุ่มหนึ่งก็ได้มาลองดีกับตำนานนี้ด้วยการไลฟ์สตรีมสดในช่วงเวลาเที่ยงคืน โดนหารู้ไม่ว่าตำนานดังกล่าวไม่ได้เป็นแค่เรื่องเล่าธรรมดา
