Fresh out of prison, a former debt collector working for a gangland boss is told he has a terminal brain tumour. In an attempt to atone for his past he rescues a young girl from trafficking, forcing him into a deadly game of cat-and-mouse with his boss.

Milton, a college dropout, was only supposed to cook meth for one day. Broken out of rehab by a brash young woman and her trigger-happy ("ex") boyfriend and driven to a remote cabin the woods, Milton finds himself drawn into a dangerous love triangle gone haywire. The couple's deadpan half-truths spin around Milton like a song on repeat. They seem to read him like an open book, until a mysterious message opens his eyes to his cursed existence. With unlimited ammunition, any hunting tool they could desire, and an ever-growing body count, for what did Milton really sign up?

In 1840s London, Dr. Thomas Bolton [Boris Karloff] dares to dream the unthinkable: experimenting with anesthesia gases to make surgery pain-free. While doing so, his demonstration before a panel of his peers ends in a horrific mishap with his patient awakening under the knife; he is forced to leave his position in disgrace. To complicate matters, he becomes addicted to his own chemical experiments and gets involved with a criminal gang led by Black Ben [Francis de Wolff], and a ruthless killer Resurrection Joe [Christopher Lee]. Unfortunately, this shady partnership leads Dr. Bolton to further ruin, culminating in his unwitting participation in murder — for which he becomes the first victim of a blackmail scheme.

A police officer who while responding to a violent hostage call, kills the African American suspect only to later learn of his innocence. Sensing this was a set-up, and facing repercussions, he must track down the person responsible while examining his own accountability and the ingrained racism which brought him to this point.

ตุล (นพชัย ชัยนาม) เป็นอดีตนายตำรวจหนุ่มมือสะอาด อนาคตไกล แต่วันหนึ่งเขาถูกบังคับให้ทิ้งคดียาเสพติด คดีใหญ่ที่สุดคดีหนึ่ง เพราะจำเลยในคดีนั้น คือผู้มีอิทธิพลเหนือกฏหมาย สิ่งหนึ่งที่ประชาชนธรรมดาไม่รู้คือ ประเทศเรามีองค์ลับ ถูกตั้งขึ้นมาเมื่อราว ๆ 30 ปี มาแล้ว จุดประสงค์เพื่อเก็บมารสังคมที่กฏหมายทำอะไรไม่ได้ เช่น พวกนักการเมืองคอรัปชั่น พ่อค้ายาเสพติดในรูปแบบของนักธุรกิจ หรือพวกร่ำรวยจากการค้าประเวณี และผู้มีอิทธิพลเหนือกฏหมายทังหลาย องค์กรนี้เชื่อว่า ในเมื่อความชอบธรรมไม่มีอยุ่ในสังคม เราก็ต้องสร้างความชอบธรรมขึ้นมาเอง เมื่อฟื้นขึ้นมา ตุล เห็นภาพทุกอย่างกลับหัว และถึงแม้ว่าเขาจะพักฟื้น จนร่างกายสมบูรณ์แล้ว สายตาของเขาก็ยังเห็นภาพกลับหัวอยู่เช่นเดิม มือสังหารไม่น่าจะเป็นอาชีพที่ดีนัก สำหรับคนที่เห็นทุกอย่างกลับหัว ตุลจึงลาออกจากองค์ลับนั้น เขาคิดว่าถึงเวลาแล้วที่จะวางปืน และกลับไปใช้ชีวิตที่บ้านเกิดอันสงบสุข ภาพยนตร์สร้างจากหนังสือ "ฝนตกขึ้นฟ้า" ของนักเขียนซีไรต์ "วินทร์ เลียววาริณ"
