From the philosophy lectern to the director’s chair, Louis Godbout draws on fifteen years of profound contemplation to depict an ordinary "battle": fighting over a parking space. It all begins with one parking spot, a couple and a stranger. Calling the police fails to end the conflict, which instead escalates into a silent psychological warfare. A single comment from the stranger acts like a domino effect, knocking down every seemingly solid pillar of the couple’s relationship.
