If only he hadn't had the lentils! They were the cause of the banishment of a football referee (Luca Pusceddu) to a backwater in the Northern league of Sardinia where a match resembles more a Sergio Leone movie than a Cup Final. His first game, on a dusty pitch with a baying crowd, starts off well enough but after his first yellow card is dished out it descends into something lawless and violent, with the distinct possibility of a linesman getting lynched and you certainly wouldn't want to be a wandering sheep. The photography and the soundtrack are really quite entertaining here as the players pose - half as if they were on a police wanted poster and half as if they were on the cover of Vogue, and the comedic antics of both players and fans alike do raise a smile (from the relative safety of my couch several thousand miles away). When he finally does get round to blowing for full-time, it might have been better for all to just count their limbs and digits rather than the number of goals scored. This is good fun, there's virtually no dialogue and it's well worth quarter of an hour.
Benito Mussolini resurfaces in Rome 72 years after his death, as if not a single day had passed. Finding a country still full of problems, both old and new, his firebrand rhetoric wins him once again the hearts and minds of millions of Italians — who see him as a wacky reenactor who speaks inconvenient truths to power.

In this satire inspired by Nikolai Gogol’s The Government Inspector (aka The Inspector General) and transported to fascist era Italy, the (supposed) incognito visit of a Roman fascist official to a tiny country town shakes deeply the ruling class and their lack of integrity.
Pasquale Baudaffi, on amnesty, comes out of prison and starts looking for a job with the help of his cousin Gaetano. But first he goes to what was once a brothel, but, unbeknownst to our hapless hero, has been taken over and rented as a dental office. Pasquale finds himself at the center of endless misunderstandings. He tries to be a gamekeeper but that's not okay, he tries to be a waiter in a bar: he immediately gets his orders wrong and he is fired. His performance as a garage keeper was negative. The very latest experience is in an electronics company but its insertion into the futuristic mechanism triggers the craziest complications. The encounter with a lost dog allows him to get to know his mistress and thus discover the woman of his life.
