Daffy is an agent representing Sleepy Lagoon, trying to sell him to talent scout Porky. Daffy spends a great deal of time and energy explaining and demonstrating what the kid can do, while the kid sits on a couch licking a giant sucker.
Under the watchful gaze of a statue of an Oscar, "Daffy" tries to extol the talents of "Sleepy Lagoon" to top casting agent "Porky". Thing is, his act just sits on the sofa sucking on a lollipop whilst it's the hugely overactive "Daffy" who does a series of turns with everything from Carmen Miranda to wartime pilot on display. Try as he might, "Porky" can't escape the relentless onslaught - and neither can we, so thankfully he agrees to let the kid try. Maybe he needed a lozenge? Anyway, it's Ok this, but the freneticism of the duck was never my favourite at the best of times, and here it's just a bit in your face and goes on too long.
Donald shows his nephews the moves that won him his hockey trophy. But the boys have a few moves of their own.
The short-tempered Daffy Duck must improvise madly as the backgrounds, his costumes, the soundtrack, even his physical form, shifts and changes at the whim of the animator.

Daffy Duck and Bugs argue back and forth whether it is duck season or rabbit season. The object of their arguments is hunter Elmer Fudd.
Daffy Duck and Speedy Gonzales find a treasure map that leads them to a wishing well, which for a penny will grant any wish (through old cartoon footage). Daffy sets up a resort around the well and various Looney Tunes characters have their dreams come true. Meanwhile, Yosemite Sam and the Tasmanian Devil hunt for the varmints who stole their treasure map!
Daffy attempts to convince Porky, as Friar Tuck, that he really is Robin Hood.
Donald Duck's gluttonous cousin, Gus Goose, comes for a visit and practically eats him out of house and home. When the direct approach to getting rid of his voracious houseguest fails, Donald resorts to desperate measures to dislodge him.
Donald visits the house of his new love interest for their first known date. At first Daisy acts shy and has her back turned to her visitor. But Donald soon notices her tailfeathers taking the form of a hand and signaling for him to come closer. But their time alone is soon interrupted by Huey, Dewey and Louie who have followed their uncle and clearly compete with him for the attention of Daisy. Uncle and nephews take turns dancing the jitterbug with her while trying to get rid of each other. In their final effort the three younger Ducks feed their uncle maize in the process of becoming popcorn. The process is completed within Donald himself who continues to move wildly around the house while maintaining the appearance of dancing. The short ends with an impressed Daisy showering her new lover with kisses
Elmer Fudd is hunting both Daffy Duck and Bugs Bunny again.
Upon learning that he is from New York City, a wide-eyed boy, who is half human and half alligator, decides to leave his sheltered life in the swamp and search for his long lost father. A musical adventure.
