In the absence of his wife, Heshmat tries to attack the sanctity of her gaurdian angel, but the angel hits him on the head with a statue and runs away thinking that Heshmat is dead. Fereshteh decides to drown herself in the river, but Amir, who works in the Heshmat factory, saves her.
