พ่อหนุ่ม เคนอิชิ มัตซึยาม่า หรือ L ขวัญใจสาวๆเจากหนังสุดฮิต Death Note กลับมาอีกครั้งกับผลงานที่สร้างจากหนังสือการ์ตูนสุดคลาสสิคเรื่อง ThefLegend Of Kamui ที่ตีพิมพ์ระหว่างปี 1964-1971 ซึ่งก็ดังมากพอที่จะนำไปสร้างเป็นหนังการ์ตูนทีวีอยู่หลายครั้ง และ.ยังเป็นหนังสือการ์ตูนญี่ปุ่นเรื่องแรกที่ถูกนำไปตีพิมพ์ขายใน อเมริกา.(1987).อีกด้วยเวอร์ชั่นหนังใหญ่นี้ก็เริ่มต้นด้วยการแสดงให้เห็น ว่านินจาหนุ่มหน้ามนคนเจแปน คามุย.(มัตซึยาม่า).ไม่อยากเป็นนินจาอีกต่อไป ซึ่งตามกฏของนินจาแล้วการจะยุบสภาลาออกจากการเป็นนินจาได้นั้นก็ต่อเมื่อคนๆ เนั้นกลายเป็นศพ ว่าแล้วคามุยก็ต้องหนีการตามล่าฆ่าไม่เลี้ยงจากพวกเดียวกัน แล้วระหกระเหินไปพบปะผู้คนและ.สถาน ที่อันห่างไกลความเจริญมากมาย แต่มีหรือที่เหล่าศัตรูผู้ตามล่าเขาจะปล่อยให้เขาหนีลอยนวลไปอย่างสบายใจใจ เฉิบ ว่าแล้วก็ต้องตามป่วนชีวิตพระเอกเราจนได้บู๊กันกระจายแล้วก็ปิดท้ายด้วยการ ทิ้งเชื้อ

The seven short films making up GENIUS PARTY couldn’t be more diverse, linked only by a high standard of quality and inspiration. Atsuko Fukushima’s intro piece is a fantastic abstraction to soak up with the eyes. Masaaki Yuasa, of MIND GAME and CAT SOUP fame, brings his distinctive and deceptively simple graphic style and dream-state logic to the table with “Happy Machine,” his spin on a child’s earliest year. Shinji Kimura’s spookier “Deathtic 4,” meanwhile, seems to tap into the creepier corners of a child’s imagination and open up a toybox full of dark delights. Hideki Futamura’s “Limit Cycle” conjures up a vision of virtual reality, while Yuji Fukuyama’s "Doorbell" and "Baby Blue" by Shinichiro Watanabe use understated realism for very surreal purposes. And Shoji Kawamori, with “Shanghai Dragon,” takes the tropes and conventions of traditional anime out for very fun joyride.

A plover chick has not learned to fly when his family migrates in the fall. He must survive the arctic winter, vicious enemies and himself in order to be reunited with his beloved one next spring.
