เรื่องราวของ โอซามุ นอกจากทำงานรับจ้างรายวัน เขายังลักเล็กขโมยน้อยเป็นอาชีพเสริมด้วย โดยมีลูกชาย โชตะ เป็นผู้ช่วย วันหนึ่ง ขณะทั้งคู่กลับจากการขโมยของ โอซามุ ได้เจอกับ ยูริ เด็กหญิงตัวน้อยอยู่ตัวคนเดียว เขาจึงตัดสินใจพาเธอกลับมาบ้านด้วย แม้ว่า โนบุโยะ ภรรยาของเขาจะไม่พอใจที่เขาพาเด็กที่ไหนมารู้มาอยู่อาศัยด้วย ถึงอย่างนั้นตัวเธอและรวมถึงสมาชิกคนอื่นๆ ในครอบครัวอย่าง อากิ น้องสาวของยูริ และคุณยาย ฮัตสุเอะ ก็ดูแลเด็กหญิงคนนี้เป็นอย่างดี ถึงแม้พวกเขาจะเป็นครอบครัวเล็กๆ จนๆ แต่พวกเขาก็เป็นครอบครัวที่มีความสุข ทว่าในช่วงเวลาที่ทุกอย่างกำลังไปได้สวย ความลับบางอย่างก็เปิดเผยออกมาทำให้ทั้งครอบครัวต้องสั่นคลอน

Depicts the life of a family in a remote Japanese timber village. Family head Tahara Kozo lives with his mother Sachiko, wife Yasuyo, nephew Eisuke and young daughter Michiru. Economic recession and failed development plans cause tragedy in the family.

In this humorous paean to the joys of food, a pair of truck drivers happen onto a decrepit roadside shop selling ramen noodles. The widowed owner, Tampopo, begs them to help her turn her establishment into a paragon of the "art of noodle-soup making". Interspersed are satirical vignettes about the importance of food to different aspects of human life.

The master of a dorayaki pastry store hires a 76-year-old woman whose talents attract customers from all over. But she's hiding a troubling secret. Life's joys are found in the little details, and no matter what may be weighing you down, everyone loves a good pastry.

Daikichi learns that his recently deceased grandfather has an illegitimate daughter with an unknown mother. The girl's name is Rin and she is just 6 years old. Everybody in Daikichi's family looks at the girl as an embarrassment and wants no part of her. Daikichi, annoyed by his family's attitude, decides to raise Rin by himself. Even though Daikichi himself has no experience raising a child and is still single.

Fleeing heartbreak in the big city, Ichiko returns to Komori, her rural hometown. She battles summer's rain and humidity, bakes her own bread, grows hothouse tomatoes and tills the fields. During autumn, the time for pickling and preserving fish and sweet potatoes, Ichiko begins reaping rice and recalls her departure five years before.

โรงเรียนซุซุรันหลังจากผ่านเหตุการณ์ภาค Crow Zero 2 ไปประมาณหนึ่งปี และเป็นช่วงประมาณครึ่งปีก่อน โบยะ ฮารุมิจิ จะมาเข้าเรียนช่วงกลางเทอม ซึ่งเก็นจิและเซริซาวะ หัวโจกตัวหลักของภาคที่แล้วก็ได้เรียนจบปีสามและสำเร็จการศึกษาออกไปแล้ว ทำให้ตำแหน่งหัวโจกอันตพาลของซุซุรันว่างลง จึงมีการต่อสู้แย่งชิงตำแหน่งเบอร์หนึ่งประจำโรงเรียนกันขึ้น โดยมี โทรุ โกระ แสดงโดย Yuya Yagira (Nobody Knows) ฉายา King นักเรียนปี 3 ที่นั่งแท่นเป็นว่าที่นักเลงเบอร์หนึ่งของซุซุรัน แต่ว่าก็มีพวกเด็กปีหนึ่งที่ฝีมือร้ายกาจเข้าร่วมด้วย หนึ่งในนั้นคือ คาเซโอะ คาบุรางิ ตัวเอกของภาคนี้ แสดงโดย Masahiro Higashide (จากเรื่อง xxxHOLiC) ผู้ชอบอยู่เงียบๆ ไม่ชอบต่อสู้ แต่หากเขาเอาจริงก็ยากที่จะรับมือ มีฉายาว่า Desperado
