ยูกิโอะเป็นนักเรียนมัธยมปลายธรรมดาๆ ที่ใช้ชีวิตไปเรียนหนังสือและหลีกเลี่ยงคนรังแก จนกระทั่งเขาได้พบกับริวสึเกะ อัจฉริยะด้านกีตาร์ พวกเขาจึงก่อตั้งวงดนตรีร็อคชื่อ BECK ร่วมกับไทระ ชิบะ และซาคุ เมื่อความนิยมของพวกเขาเพิ่มขึ้น ความอันตรายก็เพิ่มขึ้นตามไปด้วย เมื่ออดีตของริวสึเกะตามหลอกหลอนเขา
