Among the ruins of the city, there is a game only children can play. It is called “Otokoyo”; a game of hide-and-seek. But whenever children play this game, one by one they would disappear into the blinds of the buildings… The story begins when a boy enters the world of Otokoyo, to find his missing sister.

เรื่องราวเริ่มขึ้นเมื่อ อุเอโนะยามะ ริตสึกะ หนุ่มหน้าหล่อผู้มีกิจวัตรประจำวันคือการแอบไปงีบหลับในช่วงพักเที่ยงของทุกวัน แต่แล้ววันหนึ่งริตสึกะ ได้พบกับหนุ่มหน้าละอ่อนนาม ซาโต้ มาฟุยุ ที่กำลังนอนกอดกีต้าร์สีแดงสภาพเก่าๆอยู่ตรงจุดที่ริตสึกะไปนอนเป็นประจำ ทั้งคู่เริ่มบทสนทนาสั้นๆ ริตสึกะที่เป็นมือกีต้าร์อยู่แล้ว ทนเห็นสภาพกีต้าร์เก่าๆที่สายเป็นสนิมจนขาดไม่ได้ ริตสึกะจึงเอ่ยปากจะซ่อมกีต้าร์ให้มาฟุยุ ริตสึกะลงมือเปลี่ยนสายและจูนกีต้าร์ เมื่อซ่อมเสร็จริตสึกะก็ทำการทดสอบเสียงกีต้าร์ มือซ้ายจับคอร์ดAm มือขวาดีดลง ทันทีที่นิ้วกระทบกับสายกีต้าร์ก็ก่อให้เกิดเสียงกังวานอันไพเราะขึ้น จนทำให้มาฟุยุเริ่มที่จะหลงรักเสียงดนตรีเข้าให้แล้ว ความสัมพันธ์ของทั้งคู่จึงได้เริ่มต้นขึ้น วันหนึ่ง ริตสึกะได้ยินเสียงร้องอันแสนไพเราะของมาฟุยุ เสียงนั้นบาดลึกเข้าไปในใจของริตสึกะ ริตสึกกะจึงชวนมาฟุยุเข้าวงของเขา และนั้นคือจุดเริ่มต้นของความรัก

ชินจัง และเพื่อนๆ สังเกตุเห็นว่าว่า คุณครูและเพื่อนร่วมชั้นมีพฤติกรรมที่แปลกประหลาดกว่าที่เคย เมื่อพวกเขาเริ่มสืบสวน ก็ค้นพบว่าเมืองคาสึคาเบะกำลังเต็มไปด้วยมนุษย์โคลนนิ่ง
