Ngubá
Ngubá tells stories woven around the food grown and cooked by women in San Basilio de Palenque. An ancestral practice that enlivens women's relationship with the land and the memories that have been forged through farm work and daily life, framed by song, ancestral knowledge, and collective work that strengthens the community fabric. Created communally and experientially, this short film is projected as a contribution to narratives with a unique focus. From a female and Palenque perspective, it seeks to empower the voices of the deep Caribbean.
