In Love and War

เรื่องราวทั้งหมดเริ่มขึ้นเมื่อ Ernest Hemingway สุดยอดนักเขียนชื่อดังคนหนึ่งของโลกได้พบกับ Martha Gellhorn นักข่าวสาวสวยจอมลุย ซึ่งหลังจากการพบเจอกันครั้งแรก Hemingway ก็ได้ชักชวน Gellhorn ให้ไปร่วมทำข่าวสงครามที่กำลังปะทุในสเปนด้วยกันและท่ามกลางไฟสงคราม จารึกรักกลางสมรภูมิ ความสัมพันธ์ของทั้งคู่ก็ค่อยๆก่อตัวขึ้นอย่างรวดเร็ว จนสุดท้าย Hemingway ก็ตัดสินใจหย่ากับภรรยาและทิ้งลูกๆทั้งหมดไว้เบื้องหลังเพื่อมาแต่งงานกับ Gellhorn โดยทั้งสองคนอาจไม่ทันได้คิดว่าผลจากสงครามอาจจะไม่ได้สร้างความเจ็บปวดให้พวกเขาเท่ากับผลจากการตัดสินใจใช้ชีวิตคู่ครั้งนี้
