Since they don't know her real name, they call her Vesna (Spring). Unexpectedly, the professor's real daughter, the attractive Janja, shows up on a date. Samo and Vesna fall in love and the story begins to unfold rapidly. Samo invites Vesna (Janja) for a ride in a glider. They have to make an emergency landing. Sandi, happy that they finally got their assignments, fights with Samo over them. Samo gets injured and can't go on a date with Vesna. Sandi goes on the date instead, trying to win Vesna over. She scolds him and he reveals the truth that they drew lots for Vesna. Because of this, Vesna wants to kill herself. She jumps with a parachute, hoping it won't open. Everything turns out fine, and the parachute opens.

Azra a woman major in the partisan army, who fought the Germans in World War II, returns to her home village, which she helped to liberate. Although her husband was also a high ranking officer, and their goals were united, she finds it much harder to be accepted back into village and family life.

In 1942, in Nazi-occupied Belgrade, locksmith and acrobat Dragoljub Aleksić wrote, produced, directed and starred in Nevinost bez zaštite, the first sound feature film made in Serbia. It is a thrilling action picture with musical numbers and prolonged sequences of Aleksić's acrobatic stunts. Nevinost bez zaštite was never released due to the Nazi censors. "Gentlemen, I assure you the entire Yugoslavian cinema came out of my navel. In fact, I have made certain inquiries, and I am in a position to state positively that the entire Bulgarian cinema came out of my navel as well."

Ljubica is a middle-aged woman who lives in Zagreb and works as an audio pedagogue with deaf-mute children. She herself has a small child, while her husband she hardly communicates to, works in Germany. Coincidentally, she starts an affair with Zlatko, a much younger yet a man from a wealthy background. Although Zlatko is not much concerned about bourgeois views of his parents and has sincere love for Ljubica, it seems that their relationship has no future...

Vanca Kljakovic wrote the play Suicide based on Luigi Pirandello's novel Sun and Shadow.
