Sweden's largest independent dance institution Skånes Dansteater and the acclaimed Swedish band Gaby and the Guns stand behind this eight poetic minutes with eight dancers, four band members and a whole bunch of Malmo milieus, known and unknown. The film is about shaking life into things that has become fixed in patterns. About a feeling of being trapped in a place that feels smaller every day. It is calling on the city to give something back, to challenge and be my drug in the sentence of overwhelming us with its full potential and persuade us to stay when we threaten to leave or even burn it to the ground.

In Söderquist's first film [I frack] In Tuxedo, playfulness and improvisation are combined with absurd humor. An artist steps into an empty studio and begins assembling objects into a tree-like sculpture. The sculpture is adorned with small white paper clouds, puppets and undefinable items; all the while, the studio fills up with new things: a suitcase, a mirror and formal attire. The artist, now wearing a top hat and tuxedo, paints the paper clouds and the wall in a frenzy of activity, ending with his sitting exhausted in a corner surrounded by the mess he has created. The growing chaos, the various layers of narrative and the music of the soundtrack, which was improvised and recorded live during a viewing of the final film cut, interact in counterpoint.

Osynlig (Invisible) is based on children and young people's stories about bullying. The film is about Emma who often walk alone to school. She wants to be with the others in the class, but they pretend that she does not exist.

The forest, a house, and people.

Lävrasiid Äigi, the original Sami title, means "a time during autumn". From ancient times this was the time of year when the Sami people hunted reindeer. A Sami boy dreams about this hunt in the beginning of the film. Suddenly he hears singing, he has never heard before – it is called joik. He falls in love with the joiker: the Daughter of the Sun. To keep her, he needs to hide her for three days and three nights without lighting a campfire inside his tent. In a cloudy night though he takes a chance, but the star, which is her father, sees her through the cracks in the clouds and takes her home. The boy looses the Daughter of the Sun but has learned to master the power of the joik. He gets a large herd of rein deer, and experiences the greatest love of all.

In Bodén’s hometown of Jämtland, staying put is anathema: speaking to a group of kids about this drive to leave home, she is told by a male student that only “stupid girls” would stay there any longer than is necessary.
