Over the course of a year, we follow the Raballder handball team, which plays in a regular series in Oslo. The goal is a promotion from the 4th to the 3rd division. Everyone on the team is gay. From curling princesses in the dressing room, they transform into testosterone monsters on the pitch. The players are also fighting a battle against homophobic attitudes on the sports field. With a lot of self-irony and humor, the players make this an entertaining documentary series. We follow the boys in matches against heterosexual teams, take part in doctor visits, gay tournaments, EuroPride in Oslo, football matches, ski races, and celebrations of Norway's National Day. The boys also travel to their home villages where they meet their parents and siblings. One of the players gets his shooting arm destroyed in a car accident.

A long time ago, people traveled collectively to Oslo City by horse-drawn vehicles. This was the beginning of Oslo Sporveier (Oslo Tramways). Today, in the city that awakens to life in the morning, lots of people travel by buses and trams. We also get a dramatized tram stop, before we get a view of Oslo Sporveier's daily work. ***** Oslofilm was a series of public information films about life in and around Oslo, produced between 1940 and 1980. Funded by the state, the films offer valuable insight into postwar Norwegian society. A wide range of Norwegian filmmakers contributed to the productions, resulting in a rich variety of styles and expressions. Several of the films also possess notable cinematic qualities, standing out as more than just informational material. The Oslofilms represent a unique and important chapter in Norwegian film history.

Slettnes on the island of Sørøya in Finnmark is one of many hundreds of small settlements along the coast that were abandoned in the 1960s and 1970s. Around 1990, the then Statoil (now Equinor) had plans to level the entire place and build a gigantic facility for the onshore landing, processing, and shipping of gas from the Snøhvit field. As part of the preparations, archaeological excavations were carried out, and the archaeologists discovered remains of some of Norway’s oldest settlements — dating back approximately 10,000 years. The film follows the archaeologists and the people who own houses at Slettnes at a time when it was still uncertain whether the demolition plans would be carried out. We also follow processes and pipelines through time-lapse footage and reflect imaginatively on our relationship to time. (Later, the Slettnes project was put on hold, and the gas facility was instead built on Melkøya outside Hammerfest.)

survivors at the lake is a two part installation: a16mm film shown as film or on digital small screen titled snøflekker and a large scale framed photograph. snøflekker was filmed in Summer at a lake high up in the mountains on the island of Lofoten in Norway. At 900 meters above sea level, two spots of snow, nestled between the rocks, survived the summer. They hold the image in tension between stillness and transition, as they remain fixed in spite of the rain and the wind that cause ripples on the water below. The snow-spots reach to the past and future and somehow cease to belong in our present. The work echoes the landscapes of Romantic Painting. The photograph was taken in the winter in the same location from the same position. Possibly the two spots of snow in the film are left over from this winter landscape or they are covered with snow in the photograph and might reappear next season.
