Adolescent school friends Julie and Betz have a lot of things in common, like sharing an interest in sex and cigarettes and not paying attention in class. The latter much to the chagrin of history teacher Herman, who likes to get back at Julie by publicly taking the piss out of her. One day Julie gets really fed up and in an instant decides to follow Herman to his house. Spying on him from the bushes she witnesses something quite unimaginable.

Nasser is about a 13-year old Dutch girl from Moroccan descent named Nassira. Nassira's friends call her Nasser because she feels different than other girls. Nassira acts like a boy and she dislikes girl stuff. When Nassira has her first period, her mother thinks it is time to behave like a young woman but does Nassira feel the same way?

This diptych sheds light on the history of AH, and thus actually a piece of the history of the Netherlands. Albert Heijn anticipated the changing society with its range. We used to only eat potatoes, vegetables and meat, nowadays the choice is enormous.
