Emperor Kun-Ryung of the Ching Dynasty torments the Chosun people. For no reason, a young girl Pak Ouk-hwa, father was murdered by the emperor's guard Oh Kol-ma, and nearly beats her to death. She decides to learn martial arts from the great Buddhist priest Wun-su. She's determined to protect weak women with her martial arts. Ouk-hwa takes on the name of 'Butterfly of Ching' and goes to Ching. Afterwards, the numerous Chosun women suffering at the hands of Ching unite around Ouk-hwa. Ouk-hwa and her gang of women rebel against and fight the vicious Oh Kol-ma. One by one, the women succumb to him, but Ouk-hwa fights to the end and destroys them all. She returns to Chosun victorious.

In an effort to erase his disgrace, the mischievous Kim Hwan starts a movement to build birdnests but the old park keeper gets injured in his efforts. In order to get money for the park keeper's hospital fees, Hwan gets on his friend Chil-sung's boat to catch some fish. However, Hwan gets caught up in the tide and drifts off to sea where he is rescued by a Chinese ship. The Chinese ship tries to take Hwan to North Korea but Hwan resists with an anti-Communist will so strong he's willing to die. Hwan is safely returned to his home country. At the airport, Hwan's friends bring the old park keeper who is in a cast. They receive Hwan with beautiful music and performances.

While a film shooting, an actress forces herself into a corner to hide in her car to rest. And when she wakes up, she finds a man looking at her through the car window.

This documentary is about the 3rd and 4th generation Korean residents of Japan who are students of Chosen elementary, middle, and high school in Hokkaido. It follows the students through one year of the eventual 11 years` national education. Rather than focusing on special occasions or issues, it reveals what it is like to live in Japan as Korean-Japanese by describing their everyday lives.

As one quotes in the movie, Fr. Jung was a 'real' human who can purely meet another person as a person itself transcending not only the boundary of religion but all human border such as race or nationality. This doesn't mean he was a great perfect human being. He was an 'ordinary' person who easily turns sulky, plays drunken frenzy, and had stinky feet. If there was anything special about this man, it would be that he had proactively chosen poverty and knew how to enjoy that poverty.
