In this sociologically inspired cartoon examining children’s drawings and stories, the imagination-rich pictures of kindergarteners are gradually replaced by drawings done by primary school pupils that envision a fully automated (robotized) everyday life in the spirit of modern technological development. With the passage of the years, teens on the brink of adulthood – keeping their feet firmly on the ground – exhibit a grey, conformist worldview. As one of the boys puts it: “I’m going to be a footballer, or a doctor, or a grocery store deputy manager.”
Pragma is a mother-daughter story set in the course of a day, in which the repressed tension between Juli and Lili and the lack of real, attentive love that the girl would need from her mother is symbolised by the daughter's inability to eat her mother's cooking without being sick at their own birthday lunch. A drama with some absurd. At the core of the dysfunctional relationship dynamics is none other than the grandmother, who raised the mother in a very oppressive way, with difficulty expressing unconditional love.

The film portrays women who were interned for long periods of time in the 1950s without trial. They were humiliated, separated from their families, their lives torn apart. Their crime was that they were wives, mothers, family members. Nearly 40 years later, the film confronts the former internees with their former prison governor, Piroska. Some of the women have traveled home from abroad to meet their former inmates and confront their former jailer.
