And in the episode "Dandy's Day Off", the series draws attention to the dangers of hiring hitchhikers.

Eve is a 12 years old shining, vital, gonzo girl testing the limits of her sexuality and attraction, not facing the risks and the consequences. She meets Robert, a 40 year old friend of Eve’s classmate’s father, at a party. Their interpersonal relationship sticks to the conventions, but a slightly strange interference can be felt. This odd, latent discomfort feeling raises during the family dinner and later at a supermarket store. Tension builds up between these characters, and both face an unfamiliar situation.

Ambrus, the canon pretender and Gerzson, the stinking rich lawyer, taking advantage of a sect and a fake hospice, are engaged in doing unsuspecting old people out of their money.

Peter Gothar films give a sharp, uncensored view of the society. This film is no different. The plot is rather simple: a family goes to vacation with the usual stress. Then on the vacation the wife gets a strange kind of sickness and they go back to Budapest for a cure. While the wife is in the hospital, the husband visits his family. This is quite banal. However the scenario was written by Peter Esterhazy, one of the most influential contemporary writers in Hungary. His style uses a lot of surrealism but in a way that profoundly illuminates the reality. In this film, the reality is an atomized society where the so-called communist ideals are nowhere so everyday people are fully disoriented.

Captain Kovács investigates the case of a taxi driver who was knocked down and later he disappeared without leaving a trace. Responding the call of the police six women present themselves: they all confess to be the fiancée of the driver.

Irene flees her village with circus fisherman Aristid, endures a failed marriage and returns home only to be rejected by her father—who nonetheless raises her daughter Anikó, before they all relocate to town, where Irene remarries wealthy Gustav but remains unhappy without her father and child by her side.
