Jointly presented by Hong Kong’s four renowned film companies - Sil-Metropole Organization, Emperor Motion Pictures, Media Asia Film and One Cool Film Production - Look Up is a Sil-Metropole Organization production produced by John Chong and co-directed by young filmmakers Daniel Chan, Tim Poon, Elvis Hau and Sunny Yip. The film runs through four Hong Kong Stories from 1997 to the present, to detail the days we have passed through these years.

Tsui Chak-ming has been badly beaten and left for dead. While he is in a coma, Ming finds himself in a fantastical martial arts world. With the help of Old Turtle, Ming must master an ancient form of Burmese boxing to defeat a powerful villain. However, Ming’s fate in the dream world is actually in the hands of his mother in the real world.

The movie is divided into two parts. It's about the meeting of two men and women. It's a bit like a road movie. The first person to show up was Alan (Liu Yali), a cashier in a bar on the Hong Kong Shenzhen highway. She watched people coming and going, and seemed to be familiar with each other, but she was not familiar with each other. She only felt deeply for the container truck driver, ah Chun (Lu Huiguang), and believed that he was the one who took her away from this boring world. On the other side, cat (Li Huimin), who has become a prostitute, wants to sell her body and mind in exchange for a sum of money so that she can leave this ugly world. But Danny, the groom who supervises her, disillusioned her desire. Because of their long-standing relationship, Danny was in huge debt. Every penny cat earned paid his gambling debt. However, in a dark night, they resolutely embarked on the road of no return.

A rookie reporter is trying to overcome his lack of experience. An uptight reporter is seeking to find the good in people, and willing to forgive and forget the insults of her job. A middle-aged reporter uses his connections through many higher offices to make his stories come together. Dealing with modern journalism, the movie tries to do justice to both sides of the newspaper industry. On one side, the reporters are trying to do a good job in reporting the news, and for some, bringing resolution to problems. On the other side, the "victims" of reporters, who believe they are entitled to their privacy, are preventing the reporters from doing their job.

Yu Feng and Liang Liang's puppy gets gravely injured while defending them from the neighbour's large and aggressive Tibetan Mastiff. The arrogant owner of the Tibetan Mastiff, however, refuses to take responsibility, and the police aren't of much help since no people were hurt. When push comes to shove, Yu Feng vows to fight for justice for his puppy.

As Ling has been unhappy about her fate over the past years, she yields to the temptation and killed Yan. But afterwards, Ling lives under great pressure and is losing control of herself. She is suffering from schizophrenia. Now, she only has half a soul!

Return Of The Phoenix is yet another masterpiece from prolific director Li Han-hsiang. An imperial minister Cheng Pu (Ching Miao) is faced with a quandary. He's getting old and his daughters are still not married. Elder daughter Shueh-yeh (Elizabeth Chuang) is so ugly no one wants her. Younger daughter Shueh-wu (Li Hsiang-chun) is beautiful but Mrs Cheng refuses to let her marry before her elder sister. The drama unfolds when Cheng decides to marry Shueh-wu off.

In 1985, Cheung Yau-ming was one of five miscreants involved in the brutal murder of a white couple. As he was still a juvenile, the court ordered him to be "detained at Her Majesty's pleasure," a clause in British law allowing the government to imprison young offenders for an indefinite period. The film picks up in 1997, with Yau-ming (now 28) being paid a visit by a girl named Cheung Yue-ling. With only six months to go before the Handover, Yau-ming and 22 other prisoners hope to have their sentences determined soon, fearing what might happen should the decision about what to do with them become the province of incoming Chief Executive Tung Chee-hwa.

The story follows a ten-year-old girl who teams up with animals from the Chinese Zodiac to search for a lost dragon and save the world from a treacherous conspiracy.

Fong, a fresh graduate and ardent teacher, starts her career in a secondary school. The school is full of problems: not only are students engaged in gambling and smoking, their vices are ignored by teachers who are too busily involved in stock market speculation to take any notice. In Fong's eyes, even the most enthusiastic teacher is no exception. Fong is disappointed but, against all the odds, she decides to remedy the situation. Hui Bun, who has been guilty of misbehaviour in school, tries to lure his girlfriend, Ng Ching-man, to work as a night club hostess. Another girl, Ho Ching-ching, who was originally a very good student, becomes desperate for money when she has to take up the responsibility of supporting her family. She must attend to urgent expenses, such as paying for a wheelchair for her handicapped sister, so she decides to work with Ng and another schoolgirl, Lo On-nay, as a night club hostess.

Wong Yan Tung, a doctor with a fear of fire and recurring nightmares of being cremated alive, is dedicated to fighting his colleagues' ignorance about the nature of clinical death. Sheila throws herself to protect him. She is killed. In order to give Sheila a new life, Ho promises to return to ghost land and gives up any chance of a new incarnation, then Sheila revives.

However, bad luck and naivete soon conspire to keep him from true happiness.
