A fisherman has a quarrel with his fiancé who, in rage, throws her ring into the sea. An old suitor notices her bare ring finger and senses a second chance. While on a fishing trip, he happens to catch the fish that seems to have swallowed the thrown-away ring. Luck befalls him once again as later in the day, he wins a card game with the fisherman who, frustrated, has to give up his own ring. The old suitor is now in possession of both rings, while things only go downhill for the poor fisherman. (stumfilm.dk)

The film is set in Iceland, home to some of the world's best salmon rivers. The rivers are very varied – ranging from small, fast-flowing canyon rivers to large, wide, slow-flowing streams. Nils Jørgensen fishes here every summer from the start of the season to the end. He is a true "salmon bum." The camera has followed him on a number of these trips, where he talks about his fishing, and we see him catching lots of salmon. It is an instructive film about strategy, fishing techniques, flies, and what gear to use when fishing in such varied conditions. All of this experience and knowledge can be used no matter where in the world you fish for Atlantic salmon.

A strangely surreal short animated film by the beloved multi-talented artist Storm P. The film begins with live-action footage of Storm P. standing in front of a canvas where his familiar characters, the Three Little Men, come to life and walk out of a door in the picture. What follows is an animated sequence with a somewhat fragmented narrative. In the first part, a very corpulent gentleman peers hungrily through a keyhole and sees a woman feasting at a well-laid table. The middle section tells the story of a man clashing with a gendarme. In the final scene, we are in the living room of an angry woman waiting for her husband to come home. In true Storm P. style, the laws of physics are broken freely: characters can dematerialise and crawl through keyholes, be kicked all the way across town and tie their limbs up in knots. In a small café in Copenhagen, Fy and Bi meet a very sad young man, Per, who is in love with a young girl, Ellen, but her father has taken her on a trip to make her forget Per, and he doesn't know , where she has gone. Fy and Bi, who live in a moving van, become very good friends with Per and promise to help him. At night, while the two sleep, their "house" is put on a train and now rolls off quickly to something quite unknown. When Fy and Bi finally manage to get out of the wagon, they have reached Norway, where the snow is high all over the country, and there are no houses nearby. On their hike, they suddenly find a young girl who has fallen on her skis and passed out. They have her brought to a cabin and she soon comes to herself again. Fy and Bi are overjoyed when the young girl turns out to be Ellen.(stumfilm.dk)

From the moment he leaves the house until he returns and collapses in the middle of his wife’s coffee gathering, his day is filled with troubles.
