"Præsidenten fra Nordvest" is the positive integration story from Denmark of immigrant Ahmed, who after 50 years in Denmark had become so Danish that he wanted go give the best he had learned back to his motherland Jubaland in Somalia. With a suitcase full of ideas and the dream of making a difference, Ahmed returns to Somalia. But nothing goes as hi expected and back in Denmark his wife Zahra and daughter Idil becomes more and more impatient with him.

Det Voldelige Teater / The Violent Theater is a short documentary portraying the lives of the two danish wrestlers Michael Fynne and Christian "Tank" Vester. Both wrestlers are part of the Aarhus based wrestling promotion, Bodyslam! Pro-Wrestling. The film is the bachelor project of Frank Rosgaard Olsen and Andreas Brink Vestergaard at the film school Multiplatform Storytelling and Production.

Somewhere in the desert of North Africa there are cadavers lying around, never ceasing to stare at the dreamlike landscape of deep blue skies and golden sand. With blank holes in their skulls and blackened skin, they fall prey for grave robbers specializing in illegal immigrants jumping the makeshift boats sailing up to Sicily. Those who manage to hold on to life on the boisterous waters embark on an equally dangerous journey to mainland Europe. Following the paths of immigrants balancing their lives in the shadow economy, this film unlocks a merciless narrative echoing the existential fright and the ceaseless longing for loved ones. Instead of plainly appealing to empathy, it confronts the viewers with the universal fear of abandonment and lonesomeness.

The expression "de Kegnæs kukker" can be traced back to the 1600s. In the years 1667-84, Captain Wolf-Rathlou ruled the Hjortholm farm. He was a farmer tormentor and womanizer of the worst kind. While the farmers worked in the fields, he visited their wives and daughters. Like a cuckoo, he laid his eggs in other people's nests. The film tells the story of a young farmer who stands up to the tyrant because he has assaulted his pregnant wife. This triggers a series of dramatic situations that culminate during an auction on Michaelmas Day in 1680.
