The repetition of a dull student activist's everyday life, with its limited scenery and abbreviated dialogue, slowly but surely changes with the addition of new drama. The three women's different feelings of sorrow, tenderness, and strength are deeply connected to the protagonist and flow together in a single emotion. The power of the image of a man running from his friends to the personal terrorism of a "powerful man" near the end of the film overlaps the space between the two disparate characters and makes the film more than a drama. As the title suggests, this work is made up of fragments of images that the artist took with his camera from time to time during this period. The material is limited to the artist's surroundings and the people around him, and the people are aware that they are being filmed, looking at the camera or smiling at the camera... In other words, they are looking at the artist behind the camera or smiling at the artist. The film records the gaze of the artist as well as the gaze directed at the artist. This is a valuable work that makes full use of the advantages of 8mm home movies.

On a hot summer day, a camera climbs up a tree after hearing the unusual cicada cry, and catches a duel between a cicada and a praying mantis. Not wanting to miss the moment, the camera clung desperately to the tree, trying to get as close to the target as possible. The camera's breath is vividly conveyed on the screen of the same recording, and along with the tragic cries of the cicadas that have fallen prey to the mantis, we are forced to experience three minutes of tension. At the end, the artist's bloodied leg is painful.

A girl finds a puddle of water on the street after the rain. And what does the girl make when she brings back pieces of mirrors scattered on the beach? This work beautifully visualizes the changing privacy of a girl's season as a fairy tale of a mirror and a girl's interaction. The seemingly trite material of a mirror is beautifully handled in a strikingly bold leap of the image, and combined with the sweetness of the girl's gestures, creates a world overflowing with a sense of transparency.

East/West is a video with two channels of sound, based on the artist’s citizenship interview. It shows a mouth split in half, with one half speaking English and one half speaking Chinese. Occasionally, the two halves come together to create a whole. The half-mouths reflect the artist’s struggle and conflict in reconciling two cultures.

As tutoring becomes illegal, college students Dong-hyuk, Mun-cheol, and Hak-gyu look for other works. Dong-hyuk gets a job as a night watchman for the iron scrap store owned by Song In-kab. He and the orphan Duk-sun live in the iron scrap store night guard's room. Mun-cheol and Hak-gyu ask and get permission from In-kab to move into the night guard room too. Their girlfriends, Sin-ja, In-suk, and Young-ok, help get the boys jobs. Dong-hyuk gets another job in a bar. Mun-cheol gives massages at a public bath. Hak-gyu gives massages at a hair salon. However, the guys are socially inexperienced so they are soon fired. At In-kab's advice, they live honest lives by selling bean sprouts and bean curd as well as deliver milk and newspapers. Dong-hyub passes the first round of the bar exam.

In the final months of World War II, 14-year-old Seita and his sister Setsuko are orphaned when their mother is killed during an air raid in Kobe, Japan. After a falling out with their aunt, they move into an abandoned bomb shelter. With no surviving relatives and their emergency rations depleted, Seita and Setsuko struggle to survive.

A love letter arrives unexpectedly. The thought of opening the envelope feels almost too precious. Who could the sender be? While lost in such thoughts, the young man dozes off by a riverbank.

Meanwhile, in a beautiful park on the outskirts of town, another couple is enjoying the excitement of their very first date. Who could possibly imagine that these two completely unrelated couples would become bound together by fate through a single fleeting encounter? This is a dark yet fantastical love story that delivers a sharp blow to anyone who thinks other people’s romances have nothing to do with them. Just as you begin to grow weary of the cheerful young couple’s storyline and find yourself anxiously following the troubled couple’s drama, the film comes to an end with a shocking finale that leaves you with only one possible reaction: What?

Potomas the Hippo has a secret-he can speak like a human being, but only the young kids Maki and Toshi realize it. He also wears a bright green T-shirt with a giant letter "P" on it, but this is supposed to be nicely inconspicuous. Momentarily forgetting to keep quiet, Potomas speaks to a child he has just saved from drowning. Rumors soon spread about a talking hippo, and Potomas is forced to go on the run.

When you shoot incandescent light in daylight, the image appears blue. To compensate for this, you put an amber filter on the lens, but if you remove the filter from the lens and move it away from the camera, you will see two areas of different color temperatures. A series of photos was taken while rotating the filter around, and the area inside the filter becomes distorted as the shutter speed slows down.
