Rapunzel eagerly awaits her prince from her tower top singing “Someday My Prince Will Come”. Her hair is extremely long and can reach far away outside of the tower. She starts to spin and rewind her locks in order to catch her unseen prince. As the spinning movement proceeds, Rapunzel becomes highly emotional. Eventually she loses sight of her initial aspiration and transforms into a mere yarn-ball-like, cocoon-like black mass. Meanwhile, the world outside of the tower is ruined by Rapunzel’s rampaging hair. The chaos created is as if some apocalyptic natural disaster has taken place.

This was test footage that was going to be used in other projects like Born Free: Dionsaur Expedition (1976-1977) and Izenborg Ace (1977-1978).

Perching upon his ear, these magical creatures recount fantastic and peculiar folk tales into the teenager’s mind, as if speaking directly into his dreams. Relating an erotic fable of an Arabian princess who escapes her palace to spend lurid evenings with common men, the birds entice the young man toward his own desire. Their elaborate narrative, which unfolds with ambiguous shifts in genders and protagonists, escalates in intensity until it is suddenly interrupted, just before it reaches the best part of the story.

After spending his company's money, Ichita dreams of a "treasure hunt". One day, Ichita receives a small gun. One day, Ichita receives a small pistol in the mail, and the two set off on a random journey in a stolen car. On the way, they pick up a couple, a blonde woman and a quiet motorcyclist, who have no idea where they are going or why. These two are also living their own lives, far from reality. The car with the four people in it goes on a long way... The dialogue is casual but stylish. The light oldies pop music is in the background. It's a cool road movie with an unrealistic setting and a mood that mixes speed and weariness. The film was shot on location in Hokkaido, where the road is straight and endless. The filming in the vast landscape brings the characters into sharp focus. The journey of these outlaws, who can only live halfway, is shown in a dashing, unconventional and freestyle.

Mikage is unable to bear a child due to fibroids in her uterus. On the night she breaks up with her lover, she gives herself up to Sakurai, who adores her. Sakurai tells her that he will take Mikage's place as her child, but the next day he turns into a real boy. Mikage is surprised, but she begins to love him like a mother and a sister. At the same time, a news report about the unsettling world situation comes on the radio... The film is a realistic portrayal of a fantasy, with a tightly constructed structure and assured direction that adheres to theory. The ending, which seems to foretell of Japan in the near future, is a heartbreaking coincidence with the title of the film.
