One fateful summer, a group of elementary school kids set adrift on an abandoned apartment building must look within themselves to find a way back home.

High school student Aoi Aioi lives with her elder sister, Akane, after a tragic accident took their parents away 13 years ago. Through her journey she comes to know the cruelty and beauty of the world, as well as loss.
