Dull, but in a pretty suit If you are making a movie about a Mary Sue you have to be careful. Because Mary Sues are incredibly boring characters. This movie does make it a bit interesting, with some characters that you could possibly get invested in, but the overall tone is not getting to that point, and it all sort of flounders. The introductions of the bad guys are comical, and that sort of schlock does not fit with the rest of the tone, and becomes just comically jarring. It is not a good movie, but hides the dullness in a slick execution, lack of humor, and a mary sue of a mary sue.
