Miki is looking for a job. She is a senior college student and worried about not getting an offer before her graduation. Riku, who lives with his mother, finds Miki’s lost résumé on his way to the shops, where he goes to buy food when his mother is working. On her way to the shop to buy new résumé sheets, Miki meets Riku at the bus stop. Miki helps Riku with his shopping as he looks worried and, when they get to the check-out, she realises Riku has not got enough money. They look at each other and Miki sees that the boy reminds her of a long-forgotten song. She hums to herself and begins to recall the years gone by.
