A Donatello award nominated short feature that follows two elderly neighbours after one inherits a dog that kills his friend's beautiful white cat.
Two elderly gents are neighbours who get along fine until one of them inherits a dog! The other is a cat lover and you can guess the horror one night when said German Shepherd presents his new master (Roberto Nobile) with a white furry gift... Yikes, what to do? Well he heads off to the local cat home, but no joy! Tearing his hair out, he encounters a stray on the way home - not white, but he has a plan to deal with that involving some emulsion! Luckily, serendipity takes a more long-term hand in the proceedings and rescues him permanently from the impending wrath of his neighbour - just in the nick of time. The score does a lot of the work here, it is quickly paced and amusing - as, indeed, is the whole of this rather simple, but entertaining, 10 minute feature.
