The Book of Veyngriya feels really different from a lot of modern fantasy shorts because it focuses way more on atmosphere and realism instead of action. The cinematography and environments are genuinely beautiful and the world feels cold, isolated and believable the entire way through. It’s slow in a good way and lets the atmosphere build naturally, feels really original in its own right, i hope to see more from this group.
