Cathy (Atsuko Okamoto), who works at a soapland, and Goro (Ryunosuke Kawai), a boy at the same shop, beat up the manager after a sudden dispute and flee with 7 million yen stolen from the store. Along the way, they accidentally hit a menacing man named Daimura (Riki Takeuchi), turning their escape into an unexpected three-person journey. The Wachi family launches a desperate manhunt for Goro and the others. Meanwhile, Daimura learns that while he was in prison, his Daimura-gumi is being dissolved and absorbed into a larger alliance through a sake-cup ceremony led by the Wakagashira Okura (Kazuyoshi Ozawa). Determined to stop it, Daimura arms himself and heads alone for the ceremony venue—but…!!

Akira is the legendary killer known as the Fable. Following the order of his boss and due to being overworked, he lives peacefully with his partner, Yoko, as ordinary siblings. Akira still works part-time at design company Octopus with CEO Takoda and employee Misaki. CEO Takoda and Misaki are unaware of Akira's background as an assassin. Meanwhile, Utsubo is a representative for an NPO. But, Utsubo works with contract killer Suzuki to set people up for extortion purposes. They target someone at design company Octopus.
