_Significant Other_is a very unique thriller that has a lot more depth than it initially presents. Performances are pretty good around the board and the story takes twists that keep the viewer on their toes. I enjoyed it and has been one of the better Paramount+ exclusive films. Sometimes the movie tries to hit you over the head at the themes it is attempting to present and that dragged the experience down for me a bit. **Score:** _63%_ | **Verdict:** _Decent_

Human psychology is a hell of a drug. This is delightful. It is suspensful, well-acted, engaging and well-directed. The effects are as good as they need to be for this sort of drama, but most things center on great character-work, not effects of music-stings for jump-scares. I appreciate the craftsmanship that went into writing and directing this movie, and I wholly recommend it.
