Kind of a let down. The plot is more focused in this like the other Shim directed Yeong-gu movie I watched, but the Space Monster Bulgasari (a play on Pulgasari) is such a useless chump in this. The waddling pig man barely does anything. There's a good bit about Young-gu trying to remove a tooth, and the (stolen) soundtrack rocks. A highlight is Young-gu daydreaming about beating up the Andromedan aliens while it blasts the Blade Runner end credits. We also get alien warlords flying around space with it playing Oxygene. Outside of that stuff though this movie does the bare minimum with Young-gu and the Ultraman reject villains. No one even melts into a skeleton in this!
